Floco Torres premieres "Nobody Knows" at mxdwn

Floco Torres has just released a brand new track and mxdwn has the premiere. "Nobody Knows" is a fresh rap track featuring killer flows combined with a sample of a song with the same title as the soulful refrain. mxdwn lauds Floco's "laid-back but compelling delivery," which "gives an anthemic quality to the vintage backing track." This track is taken from Floco Torres' upcoming EP, again, which will be out July 7. 

KRON release Raptoid video via Noisey

Today, LA synth trio KRON have announced the August 11 release of their new EP via Ring the Alarm Records. Noisey premiered the video for title track, saying that "KRON is the boss of synth bands and this video for 'Raptoid' proves it."

Gold Casio premiere new video at Billboard

Portland nu-disco band Gold Casio have just dropped their year-in-the-making new video for "Last Song," off their June 23 EP Fever Dreams. They also talk influences, the 19th Century church where the band live and record, and what to expect at their live shows. Melville share new song at Impose

Today, Impose has the premiere of a fresh new indie rock track from Portland's Melville. The song, "Televised" is a clean cut alternative rock track with high energy guitars and bombastic percussion that encourage jamming out. While the song is fairly straightforward, Impose remarks that Melville "combines introspective lyrics with innovative sounds." Fallow Land premiere new track on New Noise Magazine

Fallow Land have released yet another eerily beautiful track from their upcoming EP, Pinscher and New Noise Magazine has the premiere. The folks over at New Noise Magazine have some nice words about "410 S. Morgan," saying that "the winding guitar lines that close out the track are a glimpse at the stellar muscianship from songwriter Whit Fineberg." Winding and bellowing, the song combines artful lyrics and lush instrumentation to give you a taste of Fallow Land's effortless indie rock. The Tads - "She is My Dream" ftd in Orange is the New Black

Newly aired episode 504 of Netflix original series Orange is the New Black features a track off Fervor Records' incredible compilation, Mid-Century Sounds, which features deep-cuts, b-sides, and never before released material from some of the most noteworthy musicians of the 50s-70s. 

The Tads were the most prolific Phoenix, AZ black vocal group in the late 50's. Their single "She is My Dream" can be found playing in the background of the diner scene in OITNB episode 504, as well as on Side A of the Fervor Records compilation due out June 16.
