Swahili Blonde share "Rose My Emperor" from new LP out Jan 22

"'Rose My Emperor' was inspired by The Lovers tarot card. In one of the decks I own, the lovers are represented by the Emperor and Empress and their marriage together. I think every human being has male and female aspects inside them. These aspects bring forth strong behaviors and instincts, and are there to give us insight and to serve us well. When these parts of ourselves are nurtured and blended together, they bring us harmony. When we are disconnected from them, we our in conflict with ourselves and that can be very confusing and disruptive." - Nicole Turley

TW Walsh shares new single via CMJ

After 2011's wonderful Songs on Pain and Leisure, TW Walsh (of Pedro the Lion) thought his solo career had come to a close. Facing illness and a debilitating broken elbow barring him from making music nearly entirely, there was no plan and little hope for a follow-up album. But alas! Today we announce a new full-length!

Check out the first single "Young Rebels" via CMJ and ready yourself for the release of Fruitless Research on Graveface Records February 12.

Jenny Gillespie shares new single with The Line of Best Fit

"Jenny Gillespie's 'Part Potawatomi' is a soothing cut steeped strongly in the folk tradition. Catchy stripped-back guitars and expressive classical string sections work brilliantly with the piece and allow space for her vocals to shine, whilst the tender narrative becomes almost tangible." - Cai Trefor for The Line of Best Fit
