No Nets announce sophomore LP
/Brooklyn's No Nets have announced their sophomore LP Bright Light for October 21 and shared the first single today via The Line of Best Fit who say, "'Dark Matter' is the sound of a band considering what maturity means to them and their music, and choosing to live for the moment."
Racing Heart announce sophomore LP for Sept 16
/Racing Heart just dropped the first single off their new LP, out 9/16 on Misra Records.
The song was inspired by Mathias Tjønn's readings of frontline reports from the War on Terror, "I wanted to give the impersonal language they use a more human face," he reflects. Jenny Hval helped flesh out the lyrics, and also contributed to a number of other tracks on the record.

No One Mind share first single from debut LP
/No One Mind is both the name of the musical partnership between Ellis Anderson, Missy Thangs, and Noah Dehmer as well as the title of their new LP, out September 9 on Third Uncle Records. As Impose noted in the premiere of their first single today, "'Tiger' is the first track off of their upcoming debut album. This song is fast paced, with intense guitar throughout the entire track. The featured vocals are broody almost, dangling atop a bevy of interestingly woven instrumentals. The harmonies are perfect and haunting."

Juliana Wilson debuts first ever single via PopMatters
/13 y/o Staten Island native Juliana Wilson has been busy in the Brooklyn studio of producer Matty Amendola (825 Records) for the past two years, and today she finally shares her very first single with the world. PopMatters said, "It’s a promising start to a very young career, and its well-composed maelstrom of angst, swirling guitars, and atmospheric expansiveness is a treat to hear." No One Mind release limited edition 7" Friday, June 24
