No One Sphere share final video ahead of March 18 LP release

DC-based No One Sphere, the solo project of Dave Mann, will see the release of a full-length five years in the making this Friday, March 18. Today, a new single and video for “Twin Coasts” sees its release. Enjoy the video below and preorder the album at Bandcamp HERE.

"'Twin Coasts' is my love letter to all those west coast kids. In the early 2000s, I spent 9 months up and down California’s state lines and I absolutely adored the scenery. The vibe out there is incredibly chill compared to what you’ll find out on the east coast. As much as I love the ‘Hakuna Matata’ ethos out there, I’m equally in love with what I’ve embraced out here on the opposite side of the country. I feel like both coasts are twins. They’re certainly not identical twins but they have enough similarities between them both to bring them together for a nice thanksgiving meal around the table with that drunk uncle who always shows up for the free booze." - Dave Mann

Occlusions annouce self-titled LP, share first single+video

Occlusions is the Alt-R&B duo of vocalist Leigh Bahari (they/them, Philadelphia) and producer Alex Gorischek (he/him, Seattle). Comparisons could be drawn to FKA twigs, Kelela, Gold Panda, Andy Stott, and others. Their self-titled full-length will be out May 13 and today sees the release of the first single/video.

"After reconnecting with an old friend, I found out that he had gotten into heroin pretty badly. It caught me off guard, and I didn’t really understand what was going on at the time. He asked me for help, but I didn’t know what to do. I had never been in that situation before. Our friendship quickly fell apart and I had to cut ties. I wanted my childhood friend back, but it felt like he was gone. This song is about that experience." - Leigh Bahari
