The Wild Now share title track from Afterglow EP; playing w/ AlunaGeorge this weekend

After a mega busy SXSW, Austin indie pop duo The Wild Now have release the highly anticipated title track from their Afterglow EP. "Featuring dreamy vocals and a sinister synth riff, ‘Afterglow’, premiering here, gives the stellar new Goldfrapp album, Silver Eye, (also out today) a run for its money," says PopDose's Keith Creighton of the track. 

If you're in the central Texas area, don't miss them opening tomorrow night, April 1 for AlunaGeorge at Southwestern University. 

Caustic Casanova announce massive US summer/fall tour

DC band Caustic Casanova have just announced a three month US tour in support of the vinyl release of their 2015 album, Breaks. Breaks is the band's third full-length and their first on the Kylesa-run Retro Futurist Records. CC have been often compared to the heavy rock of Kylesa, as well as Torche, Fugazi, Rush, The Melvins, Queens of the Stoneage, and others. They're likely coming to your town. The Appleseed Cast announce fall tour in support of Caspian

This fall, Caspian will take their final tour in support of 2015 LP, Dust and Disquiet, joined on all US dates by The Appleseed Cast. Caspian has credited The Appleseed Cast as being an early influence on their band and as such, the pairing is projected to go over well with fans of both acts. Additionally, both bands are planning new releases this year and will have new music to share on tour.
 

Save the Clocktower share new single from Taboo EP

Chicago indie pop group Save the Clocktower have shared a new cut from the Taboo EP out this Friday. Hear "Something Different" at Austin Town Hall, who say the track "combines elements of synth and classic indie pop that will have you bobbing your head right along with the pulsating beats and whirling electronic sounds that make this song a dreamy gem."
