HALEY releases Hunca Munca LP today! Hot pink vinyl, cassette, and digital are available via Graveface Records HERE.
"The opening track on the album, 'Overdrive' was written at the height of covid when I made the financially irresponsible but satisfying decision to spend my government money on a used moped for my birthday. Stuck in lockdown in an apartment homeschooling my kid, I found small doses of freedom in riding around a closed-up world. Simple, soaring, and vast, this song embodies the joys of movement and freedom, even when the world around you feels small."
- HALEY
A new track from HALEY is out today! "Good Things" is a Sleater-Kinney cover. Haley says of her take on the song, "I wanted to record a version of it that got to the ache of a tough relationship when things are sour but you still love someone very much. Sparse, open, and sentimental, it could not be more different than the original, but I hope the message remains the same, nice and emo."
The LP, Hunca Munca, is out October 13 on Graveface Records. Preorder is available via Bandcamp HERE.
Minnesota-based singer-songwriter HALEY (fka Haley Bonar) is back with her newest effort, Hunca Munca, to be released by Graveface Records this fall. Today, we share the incredible first single “Walk Among the Dead” and announce the October 13 album release.
Originally released digitally in 2022, Precocious Neophyte’s Home in the Desert caught the ear of Graveface Records, who set out to have the album remastered and pressed to vinyl. "The sound is now a dreamy cascade of warm guitar tones and cottony melodies that are sturdy enough to carry listeners to dreamland and beyond." - Paste
