This new release will see the group celebrating their 25th anniversary as a band, and this track sees them balancing influences of yesteryear with modern twists. Becca Richardson premieres new LP on Brightest Young Things

Becca Richardson will be officially releasing her new album, We Are Gathered Here, tomorrow, October 6, but the folks over at Brightest Young Things have the premiere of the stream. It's been a tough week, tough month, tough year, what have you, which can sometimes make it hard to feel legitimate excitement about art, but perhaps we should join Richardson as she navigates "[her] joy and excitement about sharing art with you all and hoping that in creating these spaces to gather and share, we can heal together and fix this world while we’re here.” Check out the album below or on Brightest Young Things.

Ural Thomas shares new song for Transference LP at Paste

Ural Thomas is a soul singer from Portland, OR who used to kick it with the likes of Otis Redding and James Brown. While Thomas ultimately didn't see the same massive success, he's still well known for his soulful pipes in certain circles in the Northeast. Paste Magazine was kind enough to share a new song from Ural Thomas and the Pain, one that was recreated from it's original release in 1896 for the Transference LP due out December 1 on Marmoset. Preorder is available here.
