Marmalakes share new track at KUTX

ATX hometown heroes, Marmalakes, have shared a new track from their upcoming record, Please Don't Stop, as the Song of The Day over at KUTX. "Not Gonna Control You" is a catchy folk pop track that features infectious handclaps and a groovy bass riff that is bound to put you in a good mood and get stuck in your head all day. Pistoleros share new video from Silver LP

Legendary Tempe rockers Pistoleros saw the release of their 25th anniversary album last fall on Phoenix-based label Fervor Records and today they drop a video for album cut "Did You Wake Up All Alone." Atwood Magazine have the premiere, saying the "blistering new video captures the determination and perseverance of a seasoned band still basking in their prime." 

Words In Flight premiere new track on mxdwn

Words In Flight, the project of songwriter Drew Brightbill, have just premiered their new single, "The Ravenous Affair" over at mxdwn. The track evokes the feeling of sitting in a hazy French cafe, thanks to the addition of Jenny Conlee of The Decemberists on the accordion. mxdwn had nice things to say about the song, explaining the clever lyrical twist that Brightbill employs to make the track about something different than one might expect at first listen. Dreamend shares first new music in six years

Ryan Graveface's long-standing solo project, Dreamend, has just released the first new bit of material since 2012. "Falling" is the first single from an untitled LP Graveface will be releasing on his own label April 6. Tiny Mix Tapes has the premiere, and they note that "much of his and his label’s catalogs could be called funnily, if not downright cutely, morbid." Listen below and preorder the album via Bandcamp

Philly band The Fleeting Ends have shared a video for the lead single off new album I Know You Lie Coz So Do I today via PopMatters, who say, "the tune riffs off common themes of uncertainty in young adulthood with an astounding level of swagger and flair." Gold Casio share new song at KEXP, announce Sinners EP

Portland's most sparkly nu-disco band Gold Casio have just released the first single from their upcoming Sinners EP. KEXP premiered the track, citing its "vibrant synthesizers, bouyant rhythms, and melodies that beg to be chanted along with." The EP will be out April 20 via Freakout Records.
