Gold Casio premieres new song on PopMatters

Gold Casio just dropped a brand new "ethereal bop" over at PopMatters. The track, "Sinners," comes from the band's upcoming EP of the same name, which is due out April 20. When you listen to the track, you'll find a steady undercurrent of synth sounds and nu-disco grooves. The vocals are smooth and honeyed, providing the perfect compliment to the slow-stomper. Gold Casio share new song at KEXP, announce Sinners EP

Portland's most sparkly nu-disco band Gold Casio have just released the first single from their upcoming Sinners EP. KEXP premiered the track, citing its "vibrant synthesizers, bouyant rhythms, and melodies that beg to be chanted along with." The EP will be out April 20 via Freakout Records. Gold Casio announce new EP release for June 23

Portland dance gods Gold Casio have announced a release date for their Fever Dreams EP. The band were recently named the "best emerging electronic/experimental Portland-based artist" by The Deli Portland. The Portland Mercury raves, "The band melds campy, gold-plated disco with glitchy indie-pop, and the result is groovy and danceable—you can’t avoid this boogie fever, so might as well let it infect you." Keep an eye out for this band to break through on a national level with their June 23 EP release.
