Dreamend, the project of Ryan Graveface, have embarked on a large tour of the US, but they've just released a new single from their upcoming album today on The Big Takeover. The song, "A Year And A Day" is an example of the balance of genre mixing that Dreamend has become as a project. The track is vocal centric, with lush and somewhat spacey synthesizer sounds that make you feel like you're floating in space. Gold Casio just dropped a brand new "ethereal bop" over at PopMatters. The track, "Sinners," comes from the band's upcoming EP of the same name, which is due out April 20. When you listen to the track, you'll find a steady undercurrent of synth sounds and nu-disco grooves. The vocals are smooth and honeyed, providing the perfect compliment to the slow-stomper.
