Foxx Bodies announce new LP for Kill Rock Stars

The LA-via-Tucson band Foxx Bodies are slated to drop their sophomore recording this fall. Having caught the ear of Kill Rock Stars, a perfect home for the band that may remind you a bit of Bikini Hill, they will release Vixen on November 5. In the meantime, the first single/video can be enjoyed at FLOOD Magazine.

Trickshooter Social Club announce new EP; share first single

Chicago’s Trickshooter Social Club takes an oddly literate, completely eclectic approach to fuzzy, tweedy, garage-y, country-tinged, stomp and clap American rock-n-roll. The group is helmed by songwriters Steve Simoncic and Larry Liss and is rounded out by a rotating cast of musicians.

Blew Velvet release new video "Touch Me"

NYC queer performance artist and music producer Blew Velvet has released an epic video for the title track off their upcoming EP, Touch Me. The songwriting was inspired by distance, heartbreak, reconciliation, and the internal process of yearning. The video is a narrative of someone lost in the desert, but the castaway theatrics aren't aimed at struggling for food or water, but thirsting for affection.

Sara Marie Barron shares video for "PrettyBoy"

Detroit’s neo-soul singer/songwriter Sara Marie Barron has released a lovely new video for “PrettyBoy” that intends to “share the message that we can find magic in the mundane with love, especially while quarantined together during a pandemic.” The full-length album, Existential Glam, is out now.

Graveface Records announces new LP from Kid Dakota

Minneapolis-based Darren Jackson who records under the moniker Kid Dakota will be releasing a new album via the Graveface imprint on December 11. The first single and title track is out today. It premiered at Beats Per Minute, who say the album is “a collection of homespun rock vignettes which crumble and shiver and stomp their way through visceral emotional moments and a slew of craggy memories.” Check out the first taste of the music below and secure your preorder HERE before they’re gone.
