The LP is out Sept 1 on Tender Loving Empire and preorder for the gorgeous 180 gram marbled vinyl is available now via Bandcamp. They have announced their first run of tour dates including LA, San Francisco, Portland, Boise, and an appearance at Cascade Equinox Festival. Dates HERE.

Waverly Drive release Now I Know EP

LA’s Waverly Drive are releasing their second EP, Now I Know. The Joy of Violent Movement described the music as “decidedly 80s new-wave synth pop” and compared Waverly Drive to Human League and New Order. The album is available now on Bandcamp!

Midwestern Dirt share new single from August 18 LP

Chicago’s Midwestern Dirt have released a new single from their upcoming Twilight at a Burning Hill LP today! The song is about “imagining what your life might be like if you hadn’t taken the path you’re on, it’s ultimately about regret.” Singer/songwriter Patrick Kapp also notes that the song is a nod to Tame Impala’s “Sun’s Coming Up”.

Second single from Waverly Drive drops today

Wouldn’t it all be a little easier in life and love if we stopped playing games with each other? The new single from LA’s Waverly Drive begs this question with a chorus that sings, “Why you playing those games that way? / If it keeps on going it's never going to go our way.” The seven song EP, Now I Know, is out July 28 with preorder available on Bandcamp.

Small Million release "an anthemic rocker about the double edged sword of not giving a fuck"

“‘Good Impressions’ is about aging out of caring what people think of you, of no longer staying a minute longer than you’re having fun at the party. The song embodies both the empowerment and the undercurrent of anguish therein, the tension between wanting to connect with people and wanting to be alone, between following your intuition and being unwilling to abandon your comfort zone.” - Malachi Graham

The LP, Passenger, is out September 1 on Tender Loving Empire Records. The band are beginning to roll out tour dates on the west coast with more to come!

Small Million release official video for "Burnout"

Portland’s Small Million have been dropping singles from their upcoming release for Tender Loving Empire Records over the last few months and have now graced us with an I-Spy themed video from the talented young queer filmmaker, Emma Josephson. The Joy of Violent Movement calls the track “a hook-driven bit of pop built around Graham’s ethereal vocal melody, glistening guitar lines, and a driving rhythm section,” and says, “the accompanying video for ‘Burnout’ stars Sammy Rios as a woman struggling to burst out of being reduced to flattened, two-dimensional rendition of a person — while appearing as though she’s losing her own mind.”
