Houston Press debuts new Easter Island video

Easter Island have been rolling out excellently shot and directed videos created by lead singer Ethan Payne leading up to the release of their new album, Take All The Time You Think You Need. The newest installation highlights his brother and bandmate, Asher Payne, in Houston, TX where he has been living during the quarantine/lockdown/pandemic or whatever you want to call this year of being apart. “It’s a video about isolation and humanity; about a lone companion in Delphi, his dog, and a shared need for connection between humans,” said the band in a statement. Enjoy the moving clip below, check out the premiere at Houston Press and mark your calendar for the December 11 album release date.

Easter Island reveal second in series of videos from quarantine

Athens, GA’s Easter Island will be releasing a new record at the end of the year and like many other artists, have found the idea of promoting a new album a bit challenging. Despite having the members spread across different cities during quarantine, lead singer turned video director Ethan Payne was able to capture each of them (socially distant) in their own environment to paint a picture of what these times look like for any of us. Ryan Monahan, featured in the new video below which premiered at Beats Per Minute, treks on his motorbike from his place of residence in Denver to White Sands National Park. Take All The Time You Think You Need is out December 11.
