Danny Golden shares title track off forthcoming LP

Danny Golden, a singer/songwriter out of Austin, TX, has just dropped the first single off his upcoming LP, Old Love. The track is a lush americana number, with sweeping choral hooks and delicate instrumentation, letting DG's songwriting take center stage on this number. This is the first single from the Nov. 2 release, and sets the tone for the whole album. Feelings of nostalgia come to mind upon first listen, and it's a track about, according to Danny Golden, "the once in a lifetime people we meet and lose along the way. Lovers, friends, family, etc... whoever they may be. We never see them coming and we’re never the same once they've left.”

Small Million share "Sirens" at Substream Magazine

Portland synth-pop duo Small Million have released a new track from their October 12 EP, Young Fools. "Sirens" is a song that reverses the mythological tales of sirens luring sailors to their death by telling the story from the perspective of the sirens rather than the sailors. Vocalist and lyricist Malachi Graham explains, "I’m trying to call out a male gaze perspective of women as territory to be conquered, or as property that they are owed, without taking female agency and desires into account. Fuck that!" Listen to the song below, check out the premiere at Substream and preorder the EP via Bandcamp
